Meet your friends for a dip in the pool! The heated and gated swimming pool is located in the courtyard area and is open from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.

Located on the second floor, the Recreation Room offers a large-screen plasma TV with surround sound, a billiard table, and a ping-pong table. Our Community Assistants will also use the recreation room to offer exciting social and educational activities such as faculty speakers from UCSB, movie nights, pool and ping-pong tournaments, as well as open mic nights.

The Laundry Room washers and dryers are credit card operated.

Tropicana Villas has tons of bike parking. If you choose to bring your car, we have off-street vehicle parking for purchase. Please visit our pricing page for more information.

Trop Café offers multiple meal plan options to fit your needs. The menu is updated weekly. Trop Café is located at Tropicana Gardens and Tropicana Del Norte Residence Halls. Villas residents can inquire about meal plan options by emailing our leasing department.

The cardio room, located in the St. Croix quad, is equipped with an elliptical machine, a treadmill, two stationary bicycles, flat screen TVs, a rowing machine, and free weights. The cardio room is open daily from 8 am to 10 PM.

Our state of the art movie theater features stadium seating for 27, 120″ Hi-Def projection screen with Blu-Ray player and Dolby Surround Sound 5.1. With the black-out shades, movie time is any time! RAs will often host movie nights or popular TV episode viewing parties, complete with popcorn or snacks.

Hit the books in our spacious 24-Hour Quiet Study Lounge, adjacent to the lobby. Free printing is available in the study lounge to all residents of Tropicana Student Living. 

Weights and cardio options are available 8 AM – 10 PM.
