If you fly into the Santa Barbara Airport, to get to Tropicana Villas you can take the 11 bus to El Colegio. The leasing office is right at 6525 El Colegio Road. Or take a cab from the airport.

If you fly into LA the Santa Barbara Airbus makes 16 trips daily between its Goleta location and the LAX airport.

We are a 5-minute bike ride to the beach, right in the middle of the student community of Isla Vista, home to many restaurants and small shops. Bring your bike or purchase one at one of the local bike shops or big box stores.

The Santa Barbara Metropolitan Transit District (MTD) offers convenient bus service from Isla Vista to downtown every half hour via the 24x express bus. The bus stop is located on El Colegio Road. For shopping and entertainment farther afield, or for Santa Barbara Airport transportation, MTD offers convenient bus service to shopping centers to the west, to downtown Santa Barbara, and from the local airport.

Tropicana Villas offers off-street parking for purchase. Rental cars are available locally, including Zipcars, which you can rent hourly.

Amtrak service on the Pacific Starliner is available at the Goleta Amtrak station, a short 10 minute drive from Tropicana Villas. There is also the Santa Barbara Amtrak station which you can travel to by the 24x bus via the State Street trolley.
